Executive AI programmes · Hong Kong
Applied AI for senior executives in Hong Kong.
Aureus Sovereign designs and delivers private AI programmes for directors and senior executives in Hong Kong. Systems are configured to the client's own work, capability is transferred in one-to-one sessions, and advisory access is retained afterwards.
- 01ConfigurationAccounts, tooling, model selection and document archive, established before the first session.
- 02InstructionFour half-days at the client's own premises, conducted on the client's own material.
- 03Retained advisoryDirect access afterwards. No ticket system and no account management layer.
An initial consultation lasts forty-five minutes, by telephone or at the client's premises, and carries no fee or obligation.
01Scope
What the programme covers.
The systems a director is now expected to hold a view on, taught as working practice rather than as vocabulary.
- Agentic systems
- Delegated execution across multiple steps without intervention between them, and the control boundaries that govern what a system may do unsupervised.
- Copilots and drafting
- Composition in the client's own formats and conventions, built from the client's existing correspondence and papers.
- Model selection and hosting
- Which model, operated where, and the data residency and disclosure consequences that follow from each answer.
- Fine-tuning
- Adaptation on proprietary material, the approvals it requires, and the circumstances in which it is and is not warranted.
- Human-in-the-loop review
- The design of approval gates, and the failure modes such gates address and do not address.
- Evaluation of vendor claims
- Error behaviour, accountability for oversight, cost at volume, and performance on sustained use rather than on demonstration.
02Outcomes
Capability on completion.
- Analysis of documents at volume. A two-hundred-page board pack reduced to the material changes, compared against prior versions, with omissions identified.
- Concurrent delegation. Several agents operated in parallel across analysis, drafting and review of annexes.
- Drafting to house standard. Correspondence and papers produced in the client's established formats and phrasing.
- Assessment of proposals. Vendor and internal claims tested against error behaviour, accountability, cost at volume and sustained performance.
- Currency. Continuing briefing on material developments, filtered to the client's own remit rather than to the field at large.

05Further detail
Supporting material.
None of the following is required in order to arrange the initial consultation.
Terminology as it appears in board papers
The terms below arrive faster than most boards can absorb them, and they appear in papers, vendor decks and internal notes used with confidence and rarely defined. The passage is representative. Beside it is what each marked term means and the question it warrants.
“Following the Committee's approval in March, the platform is now agentic, with human-in-the-loop review retained at each decision gate. The underlying model has been fine-tuned on our historic case data.
Rollout across the division completed in the current quarter. Management does not consider that the arrangement gives rise to any additional reporting obligation, and no change to the risk register is proposed at this time.”
One paragraph. Four terms carrying material consequence.
-
Agentic
The system is permitted to take steps on its own, in sequence, without stopping for approval between them.
Question: what is it permitted to do unsupervised, and who set that boundary?
-
Human in the loop
An approval is required before a step proceeds. The phrase specifies neither who approves nor whether they have capacity to review what they are approving.
Question: which role, at what daily volume, and what governs the position during absence?
-
Model
The underlying engine, licensed from a third party. Which one it is determines where material is processed and under whose terms.
Question: whose model, operated in which jurisdiction, and who else may access what is submitted to it?
-
Fine-tuned
Adapted on a body of the organisation's own past work so that output conforms more closely to its conventions.
Question: adapted on which material, approved by whom, and is the adaptation reversible?
Twenty further terms are set out in the glossary for executives, each with the question it warrants.
Programme structure
-
I
Configuration
Accounts, tooling, the models warranted at the time of the engagement, the client's archive loaded and standing instructions drafted. This is carried out by the practice.
By the first session the system holds the client's formats, counterparties and the documents that recur each quarter. There is no blank screen and no setup burden on the client.
-
II
Instruction
Four half-days at the client's premises, on the client's own material, at hours the client sets. A board pack or a live matter is worked through in session.
The first session may be conducted by observation alone. Output is reviewed, corrections are stated, and the system is adjusted in the room. Operation then transfers to the client with the practice present.
No third party attends, nothing is recorded, and the pace is set by the client. Material is revisited as often as required.
-
III
Retained advisory
Direct access is retained following the programme. No ticket system, no account management layer and no reassignment.
Where a development is material, a task proves intractable, or a proposal requires assessment before it is put to a board, the practice responds the same day and attends in person where demonstration is quicker than description.
The fee is quoted following the initial consultation and scoped to the engagement. The programme in detail.
Restricted material — on-premise deployment, optional
Certain matters cannot leave the premises: a live transaction, a regulator's file, material under privilege. Where that applies, the practice installs a machine at the client's own office and the work is performed on it, with no route out.
This is not required for most work, and where it is not needed the practice says so. Where it is wanted, the equipment is passed through at cost; it is not a source of margin.
Questions raised before engagement
- Location
- The client's own premises, or a private room of the client's choosing, in Hong Kong.
- Attendance
- The client and one representative of the practice. No group sessions, no observers and no minutes taken.
- Duration
- Four half-days across a quarter, at hours set by the client. Work between sessions is carried out by the practice.
- Preparation
- None required at any stage. Sessions are conducted on material the client already holds.
- Assistants
- An assistant or chief of staff may attend the later sessions at the client's discretion. This does not alter the fee.
- Confidentiality
- Material is held for the duration of the engagement and returned or destroyed on instruction at its conclusion. An undertaking is provided as standard.
- Following the programme
- Advisory access is retained, with quarterly sessions in person for as long as the client requires, so that the systems in use remain current.
- Fee
- Quoted following the initial consultation and scoped to the engagement. The initial consultation carries no fee and nothing is signed as a result of it.
The practice
Aureus Sovereign is a Hong Kong practice with a single line of work: taking a senior executive from awareness of these systems to competent use of them on their own material. It is not a training company with a course to fill, and not a consultancy with a platform beneath it.
Engagements are run by the people who take the initial enquiry. There is no implementation team behind them and no reassignment, which imposes a deliberate limit on concurrent engagements and is the reason the practice does not advertise for volume.
Nothing is resold. Tooling is licensed in the client's own name and under the client's own control, and on-premise equipment is passed through at cost. The fee is for judgement and time alone, which is what permits the practice to advise against its own engagement where that is the correct answer.
